Annealing Oven
A front-loading chamber for bringing finished pieces down through the annealing range under control.
A multi-segment programmer for executing a full annealing curve from heat to room temperature.
| Program segments | 12 - 30 |
|---|---|
| Ramp rate range | 0.05 - 10 °C / min |
| Soak duration | 0 - 99 hours per segment |
| Alarm outputs | High limit, deviation and thermocouple fail |
| Sensor type | Type K thermocouple |
| Relay output | Solid state, 25 A |
Compatibility assumes the tool is rated for the working temperature of that glass family. Check the maker's documentation before use.
Annealing is a curve, not a temperature. The controller holds the piece above the annealing point long enough to relax stress, then brings it down through the strain point at a rate the glass can tolerate, then lets it fall freely. A multi-segment controller does this unattended, which matters because the critical cooling stage takes hours and cannot be watched.
